Super Hotfire Diamonds Slot Review
Every deck of cards you've ever played with was a result of cost-cutting measures 🃏. Older Italian and Spanish decks carried cool imagery like swords, cups, and coins.
At some point in the 15th century, French printers cut the suits down to 4 shapes that were simple enough to stencil across a sheet 🖨️. Cheaper decks meant more decks on more tables.
Super Hotfire Diamonds slot from Booongo puts those 4 suits on the reels as its low-paying symbols 💎 and builds a prize wheel and a Collect Feature around them.
Gameplay
The reels sit in a black grid with a gold frame, under 4 jackpot plaques and half a prize wheel, in a red and orange glow that earns the Hotfire name.
You play on a 3x3 grid with 5 paylines that pay from left to right, and only 3-of-a-kind wins count. The RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. is 95.63% and the volatility is medium/high.
The max multiplier is 3,033x and the max win is $151,650. Bets run from $0.10 to $50, and Japanese yen isn't supported.
Four fixed jackpots sit above the reels: Mini (25x), Minor (50x), Major (150x), and Grand Jackpot (1,000x).
At the top of the paytable, the 777 symbol pays 50x for 3-of-a-kind, followed by the Bell symbol at 30x and the Dice symbol at 20x. The black BAR and red BAR symbols pay 16x each.
The Spade, Heart, and Diamond symbols pay 4x each, and the Club symbol pays 1x.
The 777 symbol doubles as the Wild symbol on every reel and replaces everything except Bonus, Jackpot, and Collect symbols. Bonus and Jackpot symbols land on reels 1 and 3 only, and Collect symbols land on reel 2 only.
Features
COLLECT FEATURE:
Bonus symbols carry values of 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 7x, 10x, or 15x and pay only inside the re-spins round or this feature.
A Collect symbol landing with any Bonus symbol gathers the values of every Bonus and Jackpot symbol on the board and adds them to the win for that spin.
RE-SPINS:
At least 1 Bonus symbol on reels 1 and 3 together with at least 1 Collect symbol on reel 2 starts the round with 3 re-spins at the triggering bet.
Every new Bonus, Jackpot, or Collect symbol that lands resets the count to 3, and the round ends when the re-spins run out.
Collect symbols stick to the reels while Bonus symbols don't, and each Collect symbol gathers every Bonus and Jackpot symbol on the board into the Total Win.
Super Wheel:
The Super Wheel spins once before every round and can award 1 or 2 Extra Collect symbols, a Diamond Boost that increases Bonus symbol values, or 1 of the 4 jackpots.
The wheel can also upgrade a single Collect symbol to a double or triple, and a double to a triple.
EXTRA BONUS GAME:
Any Bonus symbol landing in the base game gives a chance of triggering the Extra Bonus Game, which adds enough Bonus and Collect symbols to start the re-spins round.
Performance
I sat through a pile of Collect Features and re-spin rounds, and the slot never froze or stuttered, so the only thing stuck was me, waiting on a Collect symbol.
Maximum Win
Hit the max multiplier of 3,033x at the top bet of $50 and the max win is $151,650.
The smallest bet you can place is $0.10.
Conclusion
The money here comes from the Collect symbol, because it's the only thing that turns Bonus and Jackpot symbols on the board into a payout. The line pays can't carry the max multiplier, which is about 60 times the biggest line win.
Reaching the max multiplier means collecting a little more than 3 Grand Jackpots' worth in a single round, which would likely take a long re-spin chain with jackpots and Diamond Boosts stacking up. Let's be honest, that's a lottery ticket.
The volatility is listed as medium/high, and the max multiplier fits the medium half but falls short of what the high half usually pays, so on the high side you take the bigger swings for a smaller prize.

There's no Buy Bonus and no Ante BetAn Ante Bet is an option that costs a percentage of your bet but increases your chances of landing triggering symbols that initiate a feature., so the only way into the re-spins round is landing the symbols yourself, which leaves impatient players with nothing to pay for.
Mid-to-high-bet players with the patience to wait for a Collect symbol to show up with company are the target, and low-bet grinders chasing steady wins should pass.
