Sweetopia Royale Slot Review

The Guinness Book of Records says that thaumatin, also known as talin, is the sweetest thing on Earth. Talin is obtained from the appendages found on certain seeds of the katemfe plant in West Africa and is 3,250x sweeter than sugar. 🍬

Others would say the sweetest thing is holding your newborn baby in your arms for the first time, or hitting only green lights when you drive home from work. 🚦👶

But for me, there’s nothing sweeter than nailing a massive win, and the $250,000 that Relax’s Sweetopia Royale slot offers would do me just fine. 💰🎰

Gameplay

Goddamn, but this is a busy-looking game. There are sweet things everywhere – they’re dotted around the grid, they’re in the background; it’s a lot to deal with.

The shape of the grid – which is 7 reels and 7 rows – should give you a clue that this game works off Cluster PaysUnlike traditional paylines, Cluster Pays can award wins when a minimum number of matching symbols land adjacent to each other (vertically or horizontally), forming a cluster. rather than traditional paylines. In other words, you score a win when you land 4 or more matching symbols that are adjacent to each other.

The RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. is 96.10%, and the volatility rate is high, but you can score a $250,000 payout off the back of the 5,000x multiplier. You will, however, need to bet with fiat money.

Features

RE-SPINS AND CLUSTER WINS:

Cluster wins are held in place while the other symbols spin. These re-spins continue for as long as you can add to the Cluster, or if you manage to create a new Cluster.

It’s also possible to land feature symbols that award modifiers – these can improve or enlarge Clusters. There are 3 of these feature symbol modifiers:

• Candy Cannon: Adds 2 to 8 symbols to the reels that match a Cluster
• Sweet Upgrade: Upgrades all Clusters and matching symbols to a higher level
• Candy Cluster: Similar symbols to the ones in a Cluster will move closer to it, as long as they’re on the same row and reel

RANDOM FEATURES:

A random feature can be awarded at the start or finish of a round. The game round will continue if this feature forms a win, or makes a Cluster bigger.

Sweet Surprise: A 2x2, 3x3, or 4x4-sized Mystery symbol lands and reveals a paying symbol or a Coin symbol (I’ll expand on the Coin symbols a little later)

Lucky Re-spin: A Lucky Re-spin can be awarded once a game round ends – that will result in all symbols spinning if they are vertically, horizontally, or diagonally close to a Cluster

CLUSTER COMBO:

Large Clusters can form when Clusters of different symbols – that happen to be horizontally or vertically adjacent– combine.

CANDY COIN RE-SPINS:

Here’s where those Coin symbols I mentioned earlier come into play. Re-spins are awarded when Coins form a Cluster, and Coins will also carry multiplier values of 1x to 1,000x. Winning Clusters will stay put and all other symbols will spin.

During Cluster Coin Re-spins, you’ll only see blank tiles, Coins, or modifiers, and Re-spins continue for as long as Coin Clusters grow.

FREE SPINS:

Land 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 Bonus Scatters and you’ll be gifted 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 Free Spins. You can upgrade the Candy Cannon, Sweet Upgrade, and Candy Cluster during this round:

• Candy Cannon: 2 to 8 matching symbols will be added for each level (there are 5 levels)
• Sweet Upgrade: Clusters and matching symbols are upgraded to higher symbols (also 5 levels)
• Candy Cluster: All symbols between a Cluster and the matching symbols on the same row or reel will convert to the same symbol (2 levels)

Random modifiers can also be upgraded, meaning an extra spin will be awarded for every 5 spins.

BUY BONUS:

Pay 60x your bet to get into the Free Spins round, or 50x to buy a Candy Coin Re-spin round.

Performance

Sweetopia Royale slot was as sweet as honey during testing. I swapped devices and browsers throughout and neither unsettled the game.

Maximum Win

Place your bets from $0.10 to $50 and if you land the 5,000x multiplier at the max bet, you’ll walk away with the $250,000 top payout.

Conclusion

Sweetopia Royale slot isn’t a game I’d recommend for newbies because things can get complicated with all the modifiers and features.

If you know your way around a slot, and you’re looking for something different, then Sweetopia Royale slot could be the game that makes your sweet tooth tingle.

There are so many ways to make some moolah and you also have the option to bypass regular play by using the Buy Bonus to enter the Free Spins round (for not a lot of money, I might add) or the Candy Coin Re-spin feature.

And Free Spins can get pretty crazy when the modifiers are firing and adding extra spins. This feature is the sweet spot if you want to make a bundle (not that it’s guaranteed, of course).
