Team Santa Power Combo Slot Review

Being a slot game reviewer means you’re in sync with the cycles of the world. You know that at some point you’ll be exposed to a slew of Xmas-themed games and there’s nothing you can do about it. But that doesn’t make the misery any more bearable. 🥹

So until that time when the Flying Spaghetti Monster usurps the rotund dude with the red suit and the white beard, I guess I’ll have to muscle through and deal with it. 💪

The next game on my list is Team Santa Power Combo slot from Quickfire. The question I’ll need to answer is: is it naughty or nice? 🤢 I can’t believe I’m making Xmas puns now. I hope Santa’s gifting me a bottle of Jack Daniels to wash away the shame.

Gameplay

Team Santa Power Combo slot has all the trappings of Yuletide that you’d expect: Santa, Rudolf, lists (hopefully of all the bad girls), milk and cookies for the fat man (yeah, that’s going to help his diabetes), and stockings filled with goodies – those are the game’s symbols.

The Wild snow globe substitutes for all symbols that aren’t Scatters or Pocket Watches (don’t worry, I’ll explain) and will appear on reels 2, 3, and 4.

When it comes to paylines, there are 40 of these under normal circumstances, but you’ll see up to 100 paylines when the Free Spins with Nudging WildsThese are Wilds that will shift their position for a few reasons. It could be that they partially land on a reel, and will adjust to land fully. Or, these Wilds will move to take over an entire reel or when they can form part of a winning combination. feature kicks in. More on that in a bit.

The game’s RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. is 96.40%, the volatility rate is high, and all fiat currency is accepted as long as it's not the Japanese yen. Moolah-wise, we’ve got a 12,320x multiplier and a top payout of $246,400 – can’t complain about those numbers.

Features

FREE SPINS:

Unsurprisingly, Scatters (gift boxes with bows) are your key to entering the Free Spins round. There are 3 different types of Scatters and they bring something unique to the party.

Green Scatters:
These can trigger 5 spins along with nudging Wilds, and the reels will grow by 2 positions which is how we get the 100 paylines I mentioned earlier.

Land a Wild symbol now and the entire reel it’s on will nudge until the whole reel is filled with Wilds. If you land an additional green Scatter, you’ll re-trigger the 5 spins.

Red Scatters:
You’ll get 10 spins when you land this bad boy, but the best part is you can also score a Jackpot win. For that, you’ll need to land the Pocket Watch symbol. Pocket Watches can reveal a letter or Cash Prize, which could be 1x or 10x your bet.

So, what’s with the letters? They could spell out the Jackpot you’ll be awarded; in other words, G-R-A-N-D (for 10,000x your bet), M-A-J-O-R (500x), M-I-N-O-R (50x), or M-I-N-I (25x). You’ll see the letters collected and highlighted in the meter to the left of the grid.

Blue Scatters:
This one triggers 5 spins and with each spin, a random multiplier of 2x, 3x, 5x, or 10x is awarded. Plus, you can re-trigger the spins if you land an additional blue Scatter.

But that’s not all…

You can also land combinations of Scatters, meaning their features and awards will be added together for even more goodness.

Green + Blue Scatters: 5 spins with Nudging WildsThese are Wilds that will shift their position for a few reasons. It could be that they partially land on a reel, and will adjust to land fully. Or, these Wilds will move to take over an entire reel or when they can form part of a winning combination. and a line win multiplier
Green + Red Scatters: 10 spins with Nudging WildsThese are Wilds that will shift their position for a few reasons. It could be that they partially land on a reel, and will adjust to land fully. Or, these Wilds will move to take over an entire reel or when they can form part of a winning combination. and a Jackpot collection

Performance

You shouldn’t have any technical difficulties while playing Team Santa Power Combo slot if my testing was anything to go by.

Maximum Win

The betting range starts at $0.20 and ends at $20. Combine the latter with the 12,320x multiplier for a payout worth $246,400. 💰

Conclusion

If you look past Father Christmas and reindeer and all of that horror, then Team Santa Power Combo slot reveals some interesting features and solid stats. I might even play this game and that’s saying a lot! 😲

I like choices, so 7 Buy Bonus options work for me. I also enjoyed the Free Spins feature coz it’s different from the norm, and having a Jackpot and Bonus Buy thrown into the mix pretty much ticks all of my boxes. 🎁 And the game looks great on a mobile phone.
