Temple of Thunder 2 Slot Review

I have this long-time buddy who started living on his own at 16đŸ‘¶. If there is one thing you should not leave to its own devices, it is a teenage boy😬.

His place quickly deteriorated to basically what every teenage boy wishes his house was like, except he was brokeđŸ«€. One bedroom got turned into a mini-skate parkđŸ›č.

In the living room, the coffee table was a poker table covered in 🎼 overflowing ashtrays, and adult DVDs💿. In one corner was a little shrine dedicated to Deadpool and Elvis.

And let’s not even talk about the kitchen. It was unusableđŸ€ą.

And he replaced all the normal light bulbs with red ones, so at night it looked like you had descended into a Freddy Kruger nightmare.

It was a temple of male hedonism that never quite grew up.

Another temple that you won’t ever see is the titular one in Temple of Thunder 2 slot from Evoplay. Seriously, you never see the temple in this game. It might as well be my buddy’s place.

Gameplay

I knew it wouldn’t take too long before I came across another ancient Greek mythology-themed slot.

This is Temple of Thunder 2 slot; I didn’t play the original, and I don’t think I will.

This slot is so generic that the background behind the reels is just some nondescript countryside scenery. You play on a 5x3 grid with 20 paylines.

There are 7 pay symbols, and only 3 are high-paying: Zeus, Hera, and Hades.

The RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.
is 95.94%, and the volatility is set to high
.

You can bet as little as $0.10 or as much as $100 per spin. The highest possible multiplier you can achieve, which is 3,624x, makes it possible for the prize limit to be a sizable $362,400.

Let’s get into the features.

Features

WILD

The Wild is a W symbol, and it substitutes for all paying symbols except the Scatter and Coin symbols.

SCATTER

The Scatter is a Free Spins symbol and lands on reels 2, 3, and 4. You need 3 Scatters to trigger 10 Free Spins.

MYSTERY SYMBOL

Mystery symbols are obscured by a banner, which is burned off to reveal one of the paying symbols, the Wild, or Coin symbols.

COIN SYMBOLS

The gold Coin symbols carry a cash prize of 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 9x, 20x, or 25x your base bet amount.

They can also land with the Mini, Minor, or Major on and will award their respective Jackpot prizes.

You need to land 5 or more Coin symbols to trigger the Hold & Win feature.

Coin symbols are only awarded at the end of the Hold & Win feature, which you need to land 5 or more Coins in the base game to trigger.

FREE SPINS

During Free Spins, you can retrigger 10 additional Free Spins by landing 3 Scatter symbols.

Mystery symbols only reveal regular pay symbols and Wilds.

HOLD & WIN BONUS

At the start of the Bonus, the triggering Coin symbols are carried over, and you’re awarded 3 Re-spins.

Coin symbols are sticky and stay in place when they land until the end of the feature. Any new Coin symbols that land reset the Re-spins to 3.

The game continues until you run out of Re-spins, at which point all the Coin symbol prizes are summed up and awarded, and you’re returned to the place where you triggered the Bonus Game.

If you manage to fill all 15 positions with Coin symbols, you’ll also be awarded the Epic Jackpot.

JACKPOTS

The three smaller Jackpots on offer here can be won by landing their respective Coin symbols during the Hold & Win Bonus.

  • Mini Jackpot = 10x your current bet.
  • Minor Jackpot = 50x your current bet.
  • Major Jackpot = 500x your current bet.

As mentioned above, the only way to win the Epic Jackpot is by filling all 15 positions on the grid with Coin symbols during the Bonus Game.

Epic Jackpot = 3,000x your current bet.

Performance

With so few moving parts, it's no surprise that this slot operated flawlessly on my Windows laptop and Android phone.

Maximum Win

The most you can possibly win is $362,400. To win it, you’ll need to land the largest multiplier, 3,624x, while betting the maximum bet per spin permitted, which is $100. The least you can wager is $0.10.

Conclusion

While not particularly unique or innovative, Temple of Thunder 2 slot is a solid video slot that checks the boxes on what most players want out of their slots.

There is a Hold & Win Bonus, which you can trigger by landing 5 Coin symbols in the base game.

There is also a Free Spins feature that you can trigger by landing 3 Scatters to be awarded 10 Free Spins.

And lastly, there are some decent Jackpot prizes on offer as well.

The main draw here is the main prize. Lately, a lot of high-volatility slots have been released with lackluster maximum wins, but Temple of Thunder 2 slot’s is an impressive $362,400.

If all you’re looking for is a reliable slot with features you know all too well, then this is your slot.
