Thunder Riches Buffalo Slot Review
The ocean may be the most powerful natural force on the planet, but a really heavy thunderstorm comes close. ⚡I mean, it’s a shockwave of pure energy, rolling across the landscape and you can literally feel it in your chest.
I don’t get rattled easily, and I love a good lightning show. ⚡ But when thunder strikes right above your head, it shakes your entire body, bones and all, and you quickly realize how tiny and powerless you really are.
Thunder is just so unpredictable, and a nice reminder from Mother Nature to let us know who’s really in charge. Thunder Riches Buffalo slot by Quickfire might not rattle your bones, but it can definitely fill your pockets. 💰
Gameplay
The view over the Grand Canyon is stunning, with drifting clouds and snow-capped mountains in the distance, making this slot feel epic from the first spin.
The 6-reel, 5-row grid is filled with colorful gems, which are visually striking but low-paying. The real high-rollers are the animals: eagle, wolf, bear, and, of course, the mighty buffalo.
On the right, you’ll find the Boost (Ante BetAn Ante Bet is an option that costs a percentage of your bet but increases your chances of landing triggering symbols that initiate a feature.) and Bonus (Buy Bonus) buttons, while the Free Spins multiplier sits locked on the left, waiting to be unleashed. All of these will be explained later in the review.
Instead of traditional paylines, Thunder Riches uses Scatter PaysWhen a certain number of Scatters land, that can result in a payout that’s independent of a game’s paylines.: land 8+ matching symbols anywhere on the reels to score a win. The game also features Rolling Reels (a cascade mechanic), giving you the chance to build bigger wins with every consecutive fall.
The game is built around the following stats: a 96.02% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate., a medium volatility rate, a 6,090x max multiplier, and a $243,600 max win.
Only fiat currency is accepted, except the yen and ruble.
Features
MULTICHASE MULTIPLIER
At random, multiplier symbols ranging from 2x to 100x can appear on the reels. These multipliers remain in place until all Rolling Reels are finished.
Even better, multipliers can randomly upgrade during a spin.
In the base game, collected multipliers are added and applied to your total win. During Free Spins, on the other hand, they’re added to the Free Spins multiplier before being applied, boosting potential payouts significantly.
FREE SPINS
It takes landing 4 or more to trigger 10 Free Spins. You can re-trigger for more spins by:
- Landing 3 Scatters - 5 extra spins
- Landing 4+ Scatters - 10 extra spins
FREE SPINS WITH UNLIMITED MULTIPLIER
When you land 3 Scatters in the base game, it won’t trigger Free Spins, but it will increase your Free Spins multiplier by +1. The Free Spins multiplier can grow up to 20x in the base game, and can keep growing without any limits during Free Spins.
Unfortunately, your Free Spins multiplier does not apply to re-triggered Scatter wins. If no multiplier symbol lands, the Free Spins multiplier won’t be applied.
When you’ve finished your Free Spins, the Free Spins multiplier is reset to a random value ranging from 1x to 4x.
BOOST (ANTE BET)
The Boost feature is available in the base game, and activating it will raise your bet by 20%, doubling your chances of triggering Free Spins.
BUY BONUS
Clicking the Bonus Buy button gives you the following options:
- 10 Free Spins with 1x starting multiplier - 50x
- 10 Free Spins with a randomly chosen starting multiplier up to 20x - 75x
Performance
Buffalo, and the other wild animals came together and led the way to a flawless experience.
Max Win
For you to pocket the $243,600 max win, you’ll need to hit the 6,090x max multiplier on a $40 bet. Players who prefer smaller bets can go as low as $0.20.
Conclusion
Thunder Riches: Buffalo slot is at its best when Rolling Reels and Multichase Multipliers collide. In the base game, winning combination hits roughly every 3–4 spins, while Free Spins trigger about every 120–160 spins.
The unlimited Free Spins multiplier can turn modest cascades into jaw-dropping wins, giving it more punch than Buffalo Blitz slot or Wolf Gold slot.
The Buy Bonus is flashy but expensive: 50x is a cautious nudge, 75x is an adrenaline shot for high-risk players chasing massive multipliers. The Boost feature, meanwhile, often gives enough action without splashing extra cash.
With medium volatility and a pretty solid 6,090x max multiplier, Thunder Riches is visually stunning, packed with multiplier-packed thrills, and rewards anyone willing to play smart.
