Tiki Tiki Boom Slot Review

I have a friend who has gut health issues. And while that’s not a lot of fun for him, it certainly makes traveling with him entertaining.

I’ll give you an example. The one time we were walking in this park where there was a petting zoo – which was super lucky for him because they had toilets. His guts started rumbling and he broke out in a cold sweat within seconds. It was game on. 🧻🚽🚾

He practically pushed people out of the way to get to the WC and you could hear the bum trumpet playing Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries as it built up to a crescendo of rapid-fire detonations. 💣💥

Now there was a family with two small boys who needed to pee – they were doing the whole clutching body parts and knees together dance thing – but they couldn’t get into the bathroom as my friend was squatting. Literally.

Finally, my friend emerges in a puff of toxic fumes and runs for the exit. I’ll never forget the look on those kids’ faces as they walked into the privy.

They turned towards their mom like they’d been struck in the face – which I guess they had. They started howling and turned an avocado shade of green as they realized they had no choice but to go into the den of iniquity.

And that was me in hysterics. 😭🤣 I know, I’m a terrible human being.

But let’s move on to explosions of another sort: this is Tiki Tiki Boom slot from Quickfire.

Gameplay

A beach, palm trees, powder kegs, and a 5x3-reel grid: it’s a recipe for a great time. Or at the very least, an explosive one! The upbeat and vibrant design of Tiki Tiki Boom slot also looks incredible on a phone.

I’d suggest alternating between portrait and landscape mode during gameplay because reels 2 to 4 grow in height during Tiki Spins, so that’s when holding your phone vertically works best. The rest of the time, you can happily play in either orientation.

Tiki Tiki Boom slot offers 20 paylines, an RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.
of 96.15%
, and a medium volatility rate. The max multiplier is amazeballs, at 11,000x, and the top prize is worthy of a highly volatile game, at €220,000. That’s super impressive!

As for the currencies you can play with, those would be all forms of fiat money as long as it’s not the Japanese yen.

You’ll see Wild symbols in the base game and these replace all symbols other than Scatters. The Scatter is the mask with “Bonus” written on it, and they appear on reels 1, 3, and 5 in the base game.

The last noteworthy symbols are coins – Silver Coins land with a multiplier value of up to 7x, while Gold Coins have a minimum multiplier value of 7x. Silver Coins can be upgraded to Gold ones and you’ll see both versions during the Tiki Tiki Spins feature.

Features

WILD BOOM:

This is where our powder kegs come in; as the feature title suggests. These can land in the base game on any spin and when they do, they’re collected in the barrel to the left of the grid.

The barrel will explode randomly; thereby awarding a Wild Boom. At this point, Wilds will replace up to 15 symbols on the reels.

FEATURE UPGRADE:

Do ya see that bar above the reels with the locks on it? If you land 2 Scatters on reels 1 and 3, you’ll add tokens to this Upgrade Meter. Grab 10 tokens to complete a section and that will unlock a row in the Tiki Tiki Spins feature.

The Tiki Tiki Spins feature is triggered after 4 sections have been unlocked and of course, the meter will reset after you’ve played the feature.

TIKI TIKI SPINS WITH UPSIZER:

Landing 3 Scatters also triggers this feature, which is a Link&Win one. When it kicks off, you can opt to play “as is” or choose some, or all, of the guaranteed Upsizer modifiers – for a price.

Once you’ve decided, the feature will begin with the number of unlocked rows based on the current Upgrade Meter and you’ll get 3 spins to start with.

The only symbols on the grid will be Coins, blank tiles, and feature modifiers. The number of spins will reset whenever you land a Coin or modifier.

Here’s a breakdown of the modifiers:

Collector (green mask): Collects and combines all of the landed Coins into a single Coin

Adder (blue mask): Lands with a multiplier value – 1x, 2x, 5x, 10x, or 20x – and adds this value to all of the visible Coins. This modifier only lasts for a single spin

Persistent Adder (red mask): Lands with the same multiplier values as the Adder but it adds its value to all landed Coins on each subsequent spin

No 1x Coin: This modifier bars all 1x Coins from landing

Splitter (pink arrows): Splits random Coins into double or quadruple Coins

Key: Removes a single lock from the Upgrade Meter

Tiki Bomb: Blows away any remaining locks on the Upgrade Meter; effectively unlocking all the rows. Also, a random number of Coins will land on the reels

Doubler: This doubles the value of random Coins.

As is usual for a Link&Win feature, landed Coins become sticky and the feature ends when you run out of spins or the entire grid is filled. Achieving the latter adds 2,000x to your wins.

BUY BONUS:

You can buy your way into the Tiki Tiki Spins feature for 71.80x your bet. Not too shabby.

GAMBLE FEATURE:

You can gamble at any time during the base game for a chance to trigger the Tiki Tiki Spins feature. You’ll be taken to a screen with a spinning arrow – your job is to land it in the green section of the wheel.

You’ll see the percentage chance of success listed, and this changes as you toggle the plus and minus arrows.

Performance

Gameplay was smooth and error-free on all my devices. And it made no difference if I switched between browsers.

Maximum Win

A glorious 11,000x multiplier could be won and – if you combine that with the €20 max bet – that means a payday worth €220,000.

PS The lowest bet is €0.10.

Conclusion

Boy howdy, am I impressed with the stats on offer in Tiki Tiki Boom slot. And it’s a bit more complicated than I expected – not that this is a bad thing; the theme just made me think it would be straightforward and laid back.

Players who like entertaining games with loads of options will have a smorgasbord to choose from. Mobile players will also be fulfilled, and I’d venture to say that the multiplier and top prize will attract high-rollers and more casual players alike.

My only cautionary advice would be to say that maybe it’s a bit too much for absolute newbies.
