Treasures of Kilauea Mega Moolah Slot Review

When I was in college, after watching bands or drinking at a bar all night, all our friends and their friends would hop into cars and drive down to the beach🏖️.

We would sit and talk and drink beers, and inevitably, a few people would take advantage of the dark and hot summer night to go swimming🏊.

It was a blast. A very pleasant way to end your summer evenings of freedom. Pleasant up until the obligatory tradition where all the menfolk who were up to it would walk into the sea, have a pee, and shout at the waves🌊.

I don’t know how the tradition started, but we did it every damn time. Initiating more and more members into the club.

Almost certainly, the natives of the fictional volcanic island where Treasures of Kilauea Mega Moolah slot from Quickfire takes place would have decided we were disgusting and moronic.

Gameplay

Treasures of Kilauea Mega Moolah slot is a fiat currency only, with the exception of the Japanese yen.

This slot has an RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. of 92.02% and high volatility. So you can expect to win bigger prizes, albeit less often.

You can bet as little as €0.10 and up to €25. If you’re betting the maximum bet and hit the game’s biggest multiplier of 8,333x, you could walk away with the game’s top prize of €208,325.

You play on a 5-reel, 4-row grid with 40 paylines to land winning combinations. There is a horizontal reel with 3 positions above the vertical reels.

This extra reel contains all the normal symbols and can contribute to a win or trigger Free Spins. There is also a special Idol symbol that triggers the Jackpot Wheel.

There are also two stone-looking idols with countdown numbers. The left idol counts down from 10 and goes down with every spin of the reels. On your 10th spin, you trigger the Lava Spin feature.

The right idol starts at 5 and counts down every 10 spins. On the 50th spin, you trigger the Eruption Spin feature.

There is a special Volcano symbol that comes into play during the Lava Spin and Eruption features.

There are also 5 funky carved Polonesian mask symbols, 5 low-paying symbols, and the usual Wild, Scatter, and Bonus symbols.

The game looks and plays great on PCs and smartphones, so you can play when and wherever you want.

Features

WILDS

The Wild symbol is a W made out of volcanic rock. Wild symbols substitute for all symbols except the Idol, Volcano, and Scatter symbols.

Wild symbols also appear during the Lava and Eruption Spins.

SCATTERS

Scatter symbols simply read Free Spins and appear in the base game and Free Spins round.

You need to land 3 or more at once to be awarded your choice of the number of Free Spins and the number of Wild symbols.

LAVA SPIN

During the base game, when a Volcano symbol lands, it leaves a frame around the position that stays in place until the end of the Lave Spin.

On the 10th spin in the base game, every framed position transforms the symbol in it into a Wild.

ERUPTION SPINS

This feature happens every 5 Lava spins, or 50 spins in total, in the base game.

During the Eruption Spin, Lava Frames turn symbols into Wilds, which erupt and add more Wilds randomly.

If a Wild lands on another wild, it becomes a 2x multiplier Wild.

FREE SPINS

You need to land 3 or more Scatters to trigger a choice of Free Spins.

  • 3 Scatter symbols award the choice of:

  • 15 Free Spins with 5 Wild symbols

  • 10 Free Spins with 7 Wild symbols

  • 5 Free Spins with 10 Wild symbols

  • 4 Scatter symbols award the choice of:

  • 30 Free Spins with 5 Wild symbols

  • 20 Free Spins with 7 Wild symbols

  • 10 Free Spins with 10 Wild symbols

  • 5 Scatter symbols award the choice of:

  • 45 Free Spins with 5 Wild symbols

  • 30 Free Spins with 7 Wild symbols

  • 15 Free Spins with 10 Wild symbols

Wild symbols randomly appear on the grid.

You can retrigger the corresponding number of chosen Free Spins and the current number of Wild symbols.

JACKPOTS

To have a shot at the game’s 4 progressive jackpots, you must land the Idol symbol in the middle position of the horizontal reel above the grid to trigger the Jackpot Wheel, which can happen in the base game and Free Spins.

The Jackpot Wheel contains blank wedges and corresponding Jackpot wedges. You get only one spin to possibly win the following:

  • The Mini Progressive Jackpot starts at €10.
  • The Minor Progressive Jackpot starts at €100.
  • The Major Progressive Jackpot starts at €10,000.

Treasures of Kilauea Mega Moolah slot is a great-looking game with bright colors and cartoonish mask symbols.

The most interesting mechanic is how the Wild symbols are activated. Every 10 spins and every 50th spin, you’re awarded a significant amount of Wild symbols to potentially create bigger wins.

You can choose more Free Spins with fewer Wild symbols, and vice versa. It’s just a shame there is no Buy Bonus to trigger them.

The Progressive JackpotsThese Jackpots will increase in value over time if they’re not won. They’re funded by a small percentage of the player’s bets.

The Jackpot could be linked to a single game on a single casino, or it could apply across a network of games for a specific casino or game studio, or across multiple casinos. are only triggered when you land the Idol symbol on the extra reel above the reels. I saw the smaller Jackpots being won by other players a number of times while I was in the game.

And I know jackpots are quite a draw for lots of players.
