Urartu Slot Review

Obviously, we're all familiar with the ancient kingdom of Urartu (Kingdom of Van), but I'll give you a few refresher facts anyway.
I'm just messing with you – I had no idea what it was either!!
It turns out Urartu was an Iron Age kingdom located in Armenia. Thought to have been referred to as Ararat in biblical times, this empire rose to prominence in mid 9th century BC but slowly declined until being vanquished in 6th century BC.

  • The night of their final defeat, citizens of Urartu were held siege, and the city was set aflame.

  • Their architecture and ornaments used stone far more than any other surrounding cultures.

  • To this day, their existence is still shrouded in far more mystery than other civilizations of the same era.

Now that you're equipped for that Pub Quiz, let's move on to chat about the actual game! Urartu is a visually captivating video slot by Endorphina which is designed to work on any device you choose. Gameplay

Performance

There's an impressive sharpness to the graphics which give them a vivid realism. Musically this slot scores a 10 outta 10 with some distinctly atmospheric ancient beats. The sound effects are a somewhat jarring mixture of slot stables and stirring sounds which fit the theme.
Performance wise I had one small issue with the default screen alternating to the mobile version on Linux. Otherwise, performance was perfect on all platforms.

Conclusion

An immersive slot still has to have some attractive player rewards to keep us returning,
Urartu is a pretty straightforward offering with a strong theme and not tons of features. The features that are present though are very enticing. To be honest, sometimes getting a slew of retriggerable Free Spins with multipliers is all you need on a bad day!
