Wolf Hunt is a 5x3 reel, 25 payline slot powered by GameArtsoftware. The symbols include Royal Card Suit symbols (J-A), a Snake, Eagle, Beaver and Deer. Special symbols include the Wolf Wild, Giant Symbols in the Free Spins Feature and the American Indian Scatter that triggers the Free Spins Feature. There is also the Golden Footprint Symbol that triggers the Wolf Re-spins Feature as well as 4 different fixed Jackpots up for grabs. Over and above this there is a Gamble Feature as well. More detail will be provided in the Features section.
At the bottom of the reels you will find a Settings Icon, and History of Play Icon. Next is the Information Icon that expands to the Pay Tables and Game Play information followed by the adjustable Bet window, Autoplay button, Spin button, Balance, Total Bet and Win windows.
After you have landed a win, you have the option of doubling your win in the Gamble Feature. You will notice that the Autoplay button changes into an icon that has 2 cards in it, clicking it will take you to the Gamble Feature.
Wolf Hunt has numerous features including the Wolf Wild, the American Indian Scatter triggering the Free Spins Feature, Giant Symbols, the Golden Footprint Re-Spins Feature, 4 Fixed Jackpots and the Gamble Feature.
The Wolf Wild symbol substitutes for all symbols except for the American Indian Scatter and the Golden Footprint symbols potentially creating a winning combination. The Wolf Wild itself is not a paid symbol.
The American Indian Scatter symbol awards 6 free spins when landing 3 scatters on reels 1,3 and 5 and pays 3x the total bet.
During the Free Spins Feature, reels 2, 3 and 4 combine to allow for Giant symbols to fill them. If a Giant American Indian Scatter lands, you are awarded with an additional 3 spins. There are unlimited retriggers of the Free Spins Feature.
The Golden Footprint symbols are attached with a cash value to them and when landing 6 or more the Wolf Re-spins Feature will be triggered. These symbols can also contain one of the 4 Jackpots (Mini, Minor, Major and Grand, the value of these Jackpots depends on your bet level) and all values, including the Jackpot landed will be paid before the Wolf Re-spins feature plays out.
The Wolf Re-spins Feature only has the Golden Footprint symbols in play and the symbols that triggered the feature will remain, awarding 3 Re-Spins. Every Golden Footprint symbol that you land thereafter, will reset the re-spins to 3 again. They in turn, also remain as sticky symbols repeating the process until the re-spins have completed or, if all 15 Golden Footprint symbols are present on the reels, the Grand Jackpot will be awarded and the feature ends. Once the feature ends, all values are added and paid out.
The Gamble Feature allows you to potentially double your win. After landing a winning combination in the base game, you can click the Gamble Feature icon that appears where the Autoplay button is. You will be required to select either black or red in the hope that when the card turns around it matches the colour you selected awarding you double your win. You can continue doing so for 5 rounds or if the incorrect colour has been selected, ending the game and losing your win.
Unfortunately there are no unique features in this game.
It takes a second to wrap your head around all the features but they do allow for some decent wins. The graphics are fantastic with matched sound effects and animations. The RTP is at 96.1% with medium volatility and the chance of winning the Grand Jackpot of 125000 when playing on the max bet.
The max coin win is 2500.
The max coin win is slightly disappointing but when you consider all the features and jackpots in play you can certainly win awesome amounts. The features may be overwhelming at first but once you get the hang of it it’s pretty straight forward. I’m not one for hunting anything except for a freshly baked doughnut. That I will kill for. Follow in the wolves footprints and they may just lead you to heaps of cash.
