Gameplay

Today we’re going to chat about a game that’s so popular we had to create a second (identical) table. Now that’s saying something!

Crazy Time is a live game with no free play, so do bear that in mind. You’ll see that the game has a host and a chat element so that players and the game presenter can engage with one another while the action takes place.

The fun starts with a Wheel of Fortune with 54 segments. Your objective is to predict which segment of the Wheel the pointer will land on once the Wheel stops spinning. But that’s not all, and we’ll get to all the exciting features a little later.

As this isn’t a slot game, there are no paylines and the players’ strategy determines the volatility rate. The RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. CASH HUNT:

In this game, the presenter goes to a machine with 108 random multipliers on its grid. If a multiplier lands on the mini-slot game, that multiplier will multiply all 108 multipliers, and then all of the symbols will be obscured by random symbols that are shuffled.

While this shuffling is happening, your job is to aim a cannon at the position on the machine the presenter is at, where you think the highest multiplier will be.

Once the countdown is over, the covered symbols will reveal what they’re hiding, and you’ll see if you’ve won.

PACHINKO:

This game looks very much like a Plinko gameA Plinko game is played on a pyramid-shaped area with “pins” stuck in them. Much like Pinball, a ball gets released from the top and hits the pins on the way down.

Underneath the pyramid is a “tray” that catches the ball and is divided into segments; each with a multiplier value. The further towards the edge of the pyramid you go, the higher the multiplier.

Multiplier values are adjusted by cycling through the volatility settings. at first blush as they share similar traits. A ball is dropped from a random section at the top of the game. It’ll bounce off pins and come to rest on one of the 16 random multipliers at the bottom.

Before the ball drops, all multipliers on the game are multiplied by the multiplier value from the mini-slot machine.

If the ball drops on a portion labeled “Double,” all of the multipliers will be doubled. The ball will be dropped again and can drop on another Double or one of the previously doubled multipliers.

Do this a couple of times and the Double segment will be replaced with a 10,000x multiplier.

A Rescue Drop can trigger randomly if the ball lands on a 2x, 3x, or 4x multiplier. Then, the drop zone (the multipliers at the bottom) will be randomized and the ball will be released again.

In the case of a Rescue Drop, any multipliers with a value lower than what the ball landed on previously will be increased to the value of that previous multiplier. Does that make sense?

COIN FLIP:

You know what this one’s all about – known as Heads or Tails, the Coin Flip is a game people of all nationalities have been playing since… forever, I guess?

Multipliers will be randomly assigned to the red and blue sides of the Coin. If you won a multiplier in the mini-slot game, along with a Coin Flip symbol, that multiplier would be applied to the Coin multipliers.

Once the Coin is flipped, the side that’s facing up is deemed the winner. The multiplier will be applied to your bet.

Randomly, a Rescue Flip can happen when the multipliers are low and the Coin will be flipped again.

CRAZY TIME:

Trigger this bad boy and you’ll get to play on a 64-segment Wheel filled with multipliers and with 3 flippers. Once again, any multiplier value you score on the mini-slot game will be applied to the multipliers.

You’ll choose one of the flippers – green, blue, or yellow – and see where it lands. The multiplier you land on will boost your bet accordingly.

If your flipper lands on a “Double” or “Triple” segment, your multiplier values will be boosted by 2x or 3x. Do this several times and the Double and Triple segments will become a 20,000x multiplier.

Performance

Despite being a game that’s streamed live, I didn’t encounter a single problem while testing it.

This has been a long review, so I’m not going to rabbit on too much – you know that Crazy Times is a many-layered thing with incredible winning potential. You certainly won’t get bored because you never know what type of game will kick off.
