INSURANCE:

Insurance is something most players will be aware of, but I’ll talk about it because newbies might have an idea of how to play Blackjack, but Insurance might be a bit nuanced.

Insurance is available if the Dealer’s first card is an Ace. It costs 50% of your main bet. Click the Shield icon next to each bet – hit SKIP for a specific hand, or ACCEPT to insure all of your bets.

If the Dealer ends up with Blackjack, Insurance pays 2:1 (this covers the loss of your main bet). If you also end up with Blackjack, you get the Insurance payout and your bet back. If the Dealer doesn’t end up with Blackjack, you lose the Insurance, but the round continues as usual.

21+3 BONUS BET:

You can place a 21+3 bet for each main bet. You’ll win if your two cards plus the Dealer’s face-up card create one of the following combinations:

Flush: Three cards of the same suit
Straight: Three cards of different suits but of consecutive rank
Three-of-a-kind: Three cards of the same rank but different suits
Straight Flush: The cards of consecutive rank and the same suit
Suited Trips: Three cards of the same rank and suit
