Speed Crash Review
I ride a motorbike 🏍️ and have done so for more than a decade. Crashing 💥 is something you need to make peace with if you’re going to be on two wheels. It’s inevitable; you can do your best and ride safely but things can, and will, go south. It’s a numbers game.
I’m lucky enough 🤞🍀 to be able to say I’ve walked away from all of my crashes with my bones intact. Not so my pride or my flesh. But that’s OK. Given all the stupid, reckless things I’ve done, I consider myself a winner. 🏆
Crashing and luck are how I roll, so Speed Crash from Hacksaw, with its $350,000 potential prize money 💰, is whispering seductively in my ear. It’s time to open up that throttle!
Gameplay
The title of this game is a giveaway; it’s a crash game, but this one has a slight twist. You see, usually, you’ll place a bet and watch as the – rocket ship, in this case – climbs higher and higher. And then you’ll try to bail out before the anticipated crash.
But not so with Speed Crash. Here, you place your bet, and then you enter a numerical value – anything between 1.05x and 10,000x – in the Target Multiplier.
So, if you think the rocket ship will reach 2x before exploding, you’ll enter “2” in the Target Multiplier box.
Hit BET and the animation happens. Yeah, that’s it.
As is typical of Crash games, there are no paylines, or volatility rates, but check it out: the game has a 96% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate., a 10,000x max multiplier, and you can clinch an eye-watering $350,000 top prize!
Features
As this game has no features, I’m going to chat about the various functions here.
First off, there’s an Auto function that allows you to play for a predetermined number of rounds: 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 500, or 1,000.
You can set your loss limit at 5x, 20x, or 50x, enter a custom limit, or have no limit at all.
Similarly, you can set the win limit to 10x, 20x, or 75x, a custom amount, or no limit.
There’s also a Turbo setting for those who like their action fast and furious.
Performance
I played round after round after… you get it… and had no issues with the gameplay. I swapped devices and browsers and it was all good.
Maximum Win
Betting starts at $0.10 and is capped at $35. Combine the latter with the 10,000x max multiplier for a life-altering win worth $350,000.
Conclusion
Hacksaw’s version of a Crash game still does the same thing as the typical variants; you have to guess at which stage to bail out before your rocket ship disintegrates.
The only difference is you’re manually inputting the magic value rather than clicking a button to bail out before the crash. Tomato tom-ah-toe.
The studio released Limbo at the same time as the Speed Crash, and that game does precisely the same thing, but it has no visuals, only numbers ), and it shows you your chances of guessing right).
Maybe that game is aimed at the accountant types, who aren’t into the fluff but get off on numbers. Who knows? All I can say is that the current game’s stats are solid, and it still acts like a Crash game, so why not?
