I was wondering when my first Egyptian-themed game would roll along for 2023 and here it is. Mancala has opted to go for an uninspiring interpretation with the usual statues and artifacts behind the 5x3-reel grid.
The grid is small in landscape mode compared to the screen’s real estate. Portrait mode looks far better as the reels take up the screen's width, making the symbols more prominent and easier to see if you’re playing on the go.
I like the design of the controls, and if you’re looking for the Autoplay button, you need to long-press the SPIN one to set how many spins you want.
What isn’t great is how the hamburger menu has been placed at the top left of the screen. It’s even more challenging to use as that’s where the back arrow is.
The menu items are tiny, so unless you have fingers like a mosquito’s proboscis, you might find yourself uttering some choice words. Like I did.
So, let me address the elephant in the room – despite this being a high volatility game, the max win is a dreary €68,200. What the actual? The RTP comes in at 95% and at least there are no currency limitations so you can play with your preferred fiat or cryptocurrency.
As you might expect from a “Book of” slot, the Wild is also the Scatter – so it substitutes for all other symbols – and 3 or more will set off the Free Spins round. Oh, and Scatter Wilds also pay out wherever they land.

Conclusion
I have to say that I didn’t mind the gameplay on Book of Wealth slot for some reason. I imagine that the typical user might be playing on a mobile device, and it’s ideally suited to that purpose.
The thing that might stick in your craw is the max win, given the volatility rate, but interestingly enough, I raked in some decent ka-ching throughout my testing. So, if you’re not fazed by chasing the top prize, it’s all good.
