The Pirates of Pirates’ Plenty: The Sunken Treasure are back, this time heading into battle and led by Captain Blackbeard in the sequel to the original game by Red Tiger. Features in Pirates’ Plenty: Battle for Gold include the Monkey Wild, Treasure Map Symbols, the Battle Spins Scatter that triggers the Free Spins Feature, the Fire! Symbol and Fire Away Feature.
When you land the Monkey Wild and he forms part of a winning line, a respin is awarded with all of the lower value coin symbols removed and replaced with higher value symbols to form a potential winning combination. He remains on the reels and may have a multiplier of up to 5x attached to him.
Land 3 of the Battle Spins Scatters to trigger the Battle Spins Feature that awards a random number of free spins. Wild symbols that land will lock for the duration of the feature. Fire! Symbols and Captain Blackbeard may appear during this feature.
Fire! Symbols only appears during Battle Spins Feature firing 1 or more cannonballs landing on the reels and turning into Wild symbols or hit the opposite ship to award an extra Spin.
Captain Blackbeard may appear during Battle Spins, throwing Wild bombs which land on the reels, they may have multipliers or free spins attached to them.
Every time you land a Treasure Map Symbol it’s collected and transferred to the Wild Island Row above the reels extending the paylines to 30.
Pirates’ Plenty: Battle for Gold, like it’s predecessor comes packed with features and relies on multipliers in most of the features. That being said, you can land some wins worthy to fill a treasure chest. The graphics, design and animation uses is once again, absolutely brilliant. The RTP is a disappointing 94.66% with high volatility.
