Top 10 Games of 2023
It’s the very last day of what has been quite a year of casino games. We’ve had the usual craziness from Nolimit City, but we’ve also had some bangers from Hacksaw and probably my favorite game of the year from AvatarUX, Donkey and The GOATS. However, as many years in the game have taught me, the games that reviewers love aren’t always what the players actually gravitate toward. This year is no different.
There are a few new additions to the list but few surprises. The number one spot is secured by the same game that has held the top spot almost since its release in 2020. Without any more anticipation, here are the top ten most popular games amongst BitStarz players in 2023.
10. Aztec Magic Deluxe – BGaming
This is only one of four BGaming games that made it onto the list. It’s also the first of two Aztec Magic games to make it onto the list if you can believe that. Aztec Magic Deluxe was originally released way back in 2018, and while it looks like it may slip off the list for 2024, it’s hanging about for now.
The 5-reel slot is fairly basic, with a wild and a scatter that unlocks 10 free spins. That’s really about it. The slot has low volatility and an RTP rating of 96.96%.
9. Dragon’s Element – Platipus

That has, however, not stopped this BGaming slot from being one of the most popular of the year. There is not a lot to this one, with the slot featuring a wild and scatter symbol that unlocks a very basic free spins feature.
5. Gold Rush Frog – BGaming
From the oldest to the newest. Gold Rush Frog was released earlier this year as a BitStarz exclusive from BGaming. That’s right, you can’t find this one anywhere else. It does have high volatility, which is a bit of a bummer, but that clearly hasn’t stopped people from playing it.

What is it with this fucking frog? I don’t get it. What makes Elvis Frog in Vegas from BGaming the most popular slot month after month and year after year? Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with the game. It’s got a round of free spins and a hold-and-win bonus game, in addition to a few other interesting bonus features. But it is by no means the only slot game with a bunch of interesting features. This one continues to be an enigma to me. It is, however, once again the most popular game amongst BitStarz payers for the year.
