It is that time again folks. Soccer fever is at an all-time high with the 2018 FIFA World Cup coming up this year. This slot was quite fitting, and I thought we could revel in the greatness that is soccer. In its effervescent way, it seems to be delightful, and it was definitely a goal scorer on all tech devices.
Gameplay
Football was a grand match on 5 reels and 21 pay lines. This really was the cereal cartoon advert version of soccer. The characters reminded me of those little toys you used to get in the cereal boxes when we were kids or that used to appear on their commercials. The symbols are a stopwatch, whistle, boots, yellow and red cards, blue gloves as well as the card symbols Jack through Ace.
The Joker Character is the Symbol and can replace any symbol except the Scatter.
The Scatter is the animated Whistle.
The controls are simple yet navigate the game well. The controls consist of Credits, Coin, Spin, Stop and Take Win.

Performance
If anything, this is the quirkiest and most frivolous slot I have ever played, which is not a bad thing. It is just with a name like Football, knowing how serious soccer fans are, it kind of came as a bit of a curve ball so to speak. The soundtrack had me laughing constantly. Most normal people would probably have muted it, but with the crazy karate guy and Mexican amigo sound effects, it was hysterical.
Conclusion
Endorphina certainly didn't stick to the conventional with this game, and maybe that's a good thing. A fun, whimsical version of soccer , which despite myself I thoroughly enjoyed! I recommend this to all who are in need of a little light entertainment and a few wins along the way.
