Imagine taking the best attributes from 2 of the most famous card games and fusing them to create 1 epic table-turning masterpiece. Well, it’s been done! And it’s called Blackjack 21+3. You may be wondering what the extra 3 is all about, and it might not be what you expect as you’ll find out very soon.
This new addition to our Table Games menu is a real treat for all those card game fanatics out there but even if you’re not a table-punting pro and still learning how to play blackjack you’ll still love what this new blockbuster blackjack game has to offer.
Let’s take our seats at the table and get in on the next deal to see what the cards in this inventive new game from iSoftbet will reveal.
It’s the real deal
At first glance, this may look like a regular blackjack game, but there’s way more to it than meets the eye. And if you’re looking for an authentic experience without playing live casino blackjack, then here it is – you can even hear the muffled voices of other players in the background.
You will find 1 main betting position to place your bets which can be done using 4 chip denominations, with the minimum bet at €0.5 and the maximum at €30. You also have the option to place a side bet, and this interesting feature is what makes this blackjack game so special, but we’ll get there soon.
Once your bets are placed and you’re ready for the action to begin, you’ll click on the green “DEAL” button below your betting position for the virtual dealer to start feeding cards onto the table. Like most blackjack games, you’ll receive two cards face-up and the dealer’s first card will be visible with the second facing down, so nothing out of the ordinary to report just yet.
That’s 21 you son of a gun
The payout odds are the same as a regular blackjack game, with a 2-card Blackjack paying 3 to 2 and a normal win paying 1 to 1. You’ll also have the option to play an insurance bet of half your initial bet if the dealer pulls an Ace. This means you’ll get paid 2 to 1 on your insurance bet if the dealer pulls a blackjack, basically getting your money back.
Once the cards are dealt it’s your time to shine as the virtual dealer offers the option to pull another card to improve your hand (if needed) or stand your ground and let the cards decide your fate. And get this, if you’ve made a risky decision the dealer will ask you if you’re sure before continuing – how’s that for a helping hand?
Blackjack or poker? Play them both!
We finally get to the most exciting part of the game – the side bet! As we mentioned before, you can place the 21+3 side bet before the hand is dealt. This means you’re betting that 1 of 5 3-card poker hands will hit the table when the first 3 cards are dealt.
The 3-card poker hand must be made up of your 2 cards including the dealer’s face-up card, and keep in mind that 6 decks of cards are used in this game. The poker hands that will see you scoring on this bet are the following:
- Three of a Kind (suited) – 100 to 1
- Straight Flush – 40 to 1
- Three of a Kind – 30 to 1
- Straight – 10 to 1
- Flush – 5 to 1
As you can see in the image above, the first 3 cards dealt made up a Straight (6,7, and 8), and the player was awarded a side bet payout of 10 to 1 on the 21+3 betting position. Once the payout is awarded the money will be banked and the game will continue as usual.
Supersize your wins in Blackjack 21+3!
Considering that Blackjack 21+3 comes with a fair 95.38% RTP and the prospect of landing a 100 to 1 max payout on the side bet, this new and innovative version of blackjack is certainly one for the books and it’s a heap of fun to play. Now take your lucky seat and get the tables turning in your favor today!
